I don’t know how I feel about this. He’s one of the greatest guys I know. And I love spending time with him. But I’ve never thought about him in that way. He’s my bud, you know? But I figured, why not? What’s the worst that could happen?

This one time my best guy friend floated the idea of dating, and I indicated that I was amenable to that, and then I proceeded to flip out for like two weeks. I probably acted crazy, it’s all kind of a blur. Then we went on the best first date I’ve ever had (because he knew what I liked! And planned for it!) and now we are going to celebrate our one year anniversary next week.
